The Seiko calibre V192 with stopwatch, 24-hour hand and power reserve indicator is a Solar watch. Seiko Solar uses an ultra-efficient Solar cell capable of creating energy from all types of light, not just sunlight. This energy is stored in a very small rechargeable battery that lasts many times longer than conventional batteries. The watch is protected against overcharging. This makes the watch virtually maintenance-free. When fully charged, calibre V192 has a power reserve of 6 months. Should a power shortage threaten, the watch gives a warning by running the second hand in 2-second increments instead of every 1 second. The watch features a handy power reserve indicator. The power reserve indicator shows the amount of energy in the power reserve indication. The stopwatch measures up to 60 minutes in 1/5-second increments.
